How to Make Veg Sizzle
Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables
- Heat oil in a pan. Add minced garlic and saute for a few seconds.
- Add sliced carrot. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes on high heat.
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, and salt. Stir well.
- Toss in paneer cubes, orange slice and plane cooked noddles and now mix everything gently. Keep aside.
Step 2: Make the Sizzling Sauce
- In a separate pan, mix tomato ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, and chili sauce.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the cornflour slurry and mix well until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add black pepper and salt as needed. Turn off the flame and keep warm.
Step 3: Heat the Sizzler Plate
- Heat a sizzler plate over high flame until very hot.
- Grease the plate with butter and place cabbage leaves to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Assemble the Veg Sizzle
- Place the stir-fried vegetables, tawa pulao, veg. tikki, potatoes french fries, orange slice and paneer and plane cooked noddles over the cabbage leaves.
- Pour the sizzling sauce over the veggies.
- Just before serving, place the hot sizzler plate on a wooden base and enjoy the dramatic sizzling effect!
